Come and enjoy the delicious Cretan Diet!

• Fish: Available from the fishmonger in the small port of Bali. Alternatively you can go fishing and catch it yourself!
• Fruit and Vegetables
• Wild Goat Meat
Crete:
Crete is the largest of the Greek islands and the fifth largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. In Crete, there are many beautiful beaches, some are velvety soft and sandy and others pebbly. There are four different pebbly and sandy beaches in the protected bay of Bali!
Crete is also mountainous, but these mountains gifted Crete with fertile plateaus, caves and impressive gorges. The environment is rocky, but breathtaking. Ancient Crete had dense forests, but ancient minoan people deforested them, in order to built their powerful commercial fleet! Bali was the harbor of the ancient town of Axos.
Cretan winters are fairly mild, although there is snow on the mountains between November and May. The spring is full of nature’s colors and scents and autumn is the wine harvest. In summer, the Greek golden sun is smiling, the sea sparkles and the sweet breeze blows.
